Briars Nursery

The Briars nursery is operated by the Mornington Peninsula Shire. It is situated in the Briars Park, at 450 Nepean Highway, Mount Martha.

The nursery grows and sells am extensive range of indigenous ground covers, grasses, wildflowers, shrubs and trees, propagated from locally-collected seed. The nursery also stocks a range of plants from across Australia, including well-known drought-tolerant varieties of grevillea, callistemon, hibiscus, banksia, leptospermum and many more.

The Briars Nursery welcomes volunteers with an interest in growing plants and gardening. Volunteering at the Nursery provides an opportunity to build on existing horticultural skills, meet new people and learn about our local flora. More details on this website.[external site]
