Mornington Peninsula Shire has adopted planning amendment C219.
This amendment makes changes to zoning within the Urban Growth Boundary.
The declared purpose of the amendment is to allow the building of 1200 new houses per year on the Peninsula.
Although the Shire has publicised that the amendment documentation is available on the Victorian Government Planning Department website, the document is not available there.
The amendment has been sent to the state Planning Minister for approval before being gazetted.
