When the application for subdividing this property was advertised, MEWRA submitted a formal objection, principally on environmental grounds. MEWRA committee members also attended a conference with the Shire and the owner of the property to discus the application.

We have since been advised that the Shire has granted the owner a permit to subdivide into 8 blocks, each 2000 sq metres or larger, subject to conditions. You can view the Shire’s decision document here.
